I'm Judy Herman, a relationship therapist who helps couples turn conflict into connection.
Judy Herman's Bio:
I’m Judy Herman. I’m a relationship therapist, but you can think of me as a soul cheerleader or a couples' coach.
I help people who long for connection in their relationships, but feel abandoned or suffocated by patterns of manipulation and control. I guide them to be heard, understood, and valued so they can gain confidence and skills to be connected and cared for.
From my own path toward a growing marriage and over a decade of helping couples in my counseling office, you can be assured it's possible to have a heart bond with your spouse. It takes two who are willing to grow their authentic selves and honor each other.
Like ballroom dancing, couples learn to change their relationship style. Whether its fine-tuning the dance steps or changing the music, they begin to flow to the rhythm of life together. It takes lots of practice.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHPS) in Tennessee. and a National Certified Counselor # 94297 (NCC) with inter-generational relationship experiences. (which is a fancy way to say that I'm a grandmother with grown children.)
I'm trained as an Imago Relationship Therapist and use the methods regularly including Communologue and Couples Dialogue. I'm a facilitator for Prepare/Enrich, Marital and Premarital Inventory which I use often with pre-marital and married couples.
